Have you ever considered how to move a live animal (cow, horse, pig...) in distress or unable to stand up correctly?
When such a situation arises, improvisation is mostly done. This improvisation does not always go well, and sometimes takes place in an irresponsible, disrespectful manner. As a result, it also violates animal welfare.
Moving immobilised and/or distressed (large) animals is a regular topic in my training sessions for emergency services and rescuers.
They cannot afford ‘’mistreatments‘’, and are often videotaped by bystanders.
You are probably not viewed this way at your job, your responsibility around animal welfare and handling animals (whether in distress or not), is just the same!
That is why I show you this simple tool so that you can move your animals in a responsible and animal-friendly way.
